Bill Cosby’s Youngest Daughter Comes To His Defense: ‘He Is Not Abusive, Violent Or A Rapist’

Published by:

Evin Cosby, the youngest of Bill Cosby‘s children, unexpectedly dropped a heartfelt defense of her father on his Facebook page Wednesday morning.

I know that my father loves me, loves my sisters and my mother. He loves and respects women. He is not abusive, violent or a rapist,” writes the 40-year-old daughter:

She also mentions her brother Ennis’ 1997 murder, saying, “her family’s pain has been a trigger for people to seize upon us harder.”

She ends the missive by saying that her family helped her, a single mom, raise her children, and teaches them family values. And …read more

Do You Know What Is Police Brutality?

Police brutality is a form of misconduct by Police, wherein officers from this department engage in an excessive force usage. This means that they make use of force that is well beyond the required limit to cope with a specific situation. For instance, if an officer beats a non-violent protestor, he can be accused of excessive use of force under the argument that the officer would have handled the situation in a different way without any violence.

Different countries, states and cities of the world have laws pertaining to this and this is applicable to Detroit as well. Any case filed by an individual under the grounds of Detroit police brutality will be handled by the district attorney or by a commission. But, the fact is that reports submitted by the human rights organization point out that many cases against police brutality in different countries of the world are not properly investigated. Only in some cases disciplinary actions are taken against the officers, who have acted violently against innocent public.

Claudine Humure, a senior at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, is one of the 10 young people awarded $10,000 as a winner of one of the OZY Genius Awards distributed by OZY, the funky news site.

“This socket is much cheaper to produce on a 3-D printer,” Humure told me. “It cost about $100.” Because of the low production costs, Humure expects her prosthetic socket to be affordable to amputees in developing countries. Prosthetics now on the market are too expensive for many of them.

From Rwanda to Award-winning Designer

Humure has a personal interest in prosthetics. After losing both her parents in Rwanda’s genocide, she and her six siblings were raised in an orphanage. At the age of 13, she developed cancer, which led to the amputation of her leg. She first came to the U.S. to get a prosthetic leg in 2004, after which she returned to Rwanda. Later she came back to the U.S. to study after receiving a scholarship to attend high school in Connecticut.

When I asked Humure what inspired her to design the prosthetic socket, …read more

A Pulling Back of Racism Centers Blacks Politically

To most black Americans “What more do you people want?” is a callow question.

Racial profiling and its exploitation is still one of the nations most austere problems. Though some racial profiling will remain necessary in bad and rough neighborhoods and communities as an attempt to safeguard residents from harm. Racial difference, subtle but absolute still remain in industries such as health care and finance. Black men are also grossly overrepresented in prisons and jails.

The remains of pre-Civil Rights Act America do not explain or constitute the “reign of white supremacy” that some blacks still complain about. The United States is now at its lowest percentage of black families who live below the poverty line than at any other point in our Nation’s history. This figure is dwindling with each census count.

It’s hard to see “apartheid” in a place where so many individuals of power are African American. For example the CEO’s of Time Warner, American Express, and Merrill Lynch as well as the Secretary of State and our National Security Advisor are black.

Prior to the 1960’s blacks couldn’t even have …read more
